Camp Preview

Leading up to the start of Training Camps in July, we are taking a team-by-team tour with fantasy previews for each NFL squad. We'll detail the key offseason moves, position battles to watch, and other things to keep an eye on as the clubs prepare for the season ahead.

Notable Offseason Moves: The Eagles allowed their two biggest free agent names – quarterback Jeff Garcia and wide receiver Donte Stallworth – to leave via free agency, but both players were replaced. Former Ram Kevin Curtis eschewed offers from the Vikings and Lions to take over Stallworth's starting gig. The club used a committee approach to cover Garcia's spot, as they locked up A.J. Feeley with a contract extension, traded for Kelly Holcomb, and used the 36th overall pick on Kevin Kolb. The Holcomb deal with the Bills also saw two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Takeo Spikes land in Philadelphia. The Bills netted defensive tackle Darwin Walker, who has yet to report and may return to his former club. The Eagles already covered Walker's spot by signing defensive tackles Ian Scott and Monte Reagor.

Position Battles: Heading into camp, Holcomb looks like the odd-man out in the quarterback mix.
